Pre-Kindergarten
 Our
PRE-PROGRAM educates children from four years through five years
of age (pre-kindergarten). Preschool programs are facilitated at
all of our locations. Please contact us to determine availability
in this program. Our program is structured to recognize a child’s
“whole” self. By using this philosophy, we focus on
a child’s emotional as well as academic growth. These years
are very crucial to a child’s positive development in all
areas. A child is encouraged to explore the world around them in
both “free play” centers as well as more structured
centers such as reading, writing, and science. Our weekly lesson
plans include an opportunity to learn a second language such as
Spanish, French, or Sign Language. Computer enrichment classes are
offered to children in this program as well as a curriculum that
reinforces standards set forth by the National Association for the
Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the State of Delaware Department
of Education. We have attached a developmental outline that summarizes
the areas that we focus on in this program.
